Why we deleted our blog

Straight to the point, LLMs, or Large Language Models, are scraping our information. What does that mean? They train their AI chatbots with our knowledge without our consent because we publicly make our blog posts available. While we are aware of this contradiction, AI using our information is not the same as copying it to build a better music performance anxiety system or even using it to help a company target ads. With the former, we had no problem and constantly encouraged our peers to improve our system. With the latter, we had no problem either, as we were happy to exchange our information for ads if it meant reaching more people who sought our help. We could not have imagined the number of random people we met simply because we posted online and had a few articles ranked high in Google search.

However, today is a new day. AI has no regulation, and with no regulation, there are no ethical considerations. Therefore, shutting down this blog is obviously not a business decision, but an ethical one.

So what’s next? We are working hard to build new products that will help hundreds of thousands of students each year—far more than we are currently capable of. Stay tuned. We can’t wait to share it!

Sincerely,

Coach Cory
